Every child deserves to experience the meaning, pride, and joy of their Bar or Bat Mitzvah—in a way that honors who they are.
With over 20 years of experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), I bring a deep understanding of child development, emotional growth, and individualized learning into every aspect of my teaching. My background includes work in a therapeutic preschool setting and training connected to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where I developed a strong foundation in supporting children with diverse developmental and emotional needs.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of preparing students with a wide range of learning styles and challenges, including:
• ADHD
• Autism
• Cerebral Palsy
• Speech and language delays
• Developmental differences and processing challenges
Each child is approached as an individual—with patience, flexibility, and respect. There is no “one-size-fits-all” model. Instead, I adapt the process to meet the child where they are, building on their strengths and creating a path that allows them to succeed with confidence.
For some students, that may mean modifying how material is presented.
For others, it may mean adjusting expectations while preserving the integrity and meaning of the experience.
The goal is always the same:
to help each child participate in a way that feels authentic, successful, and deeply meaningful.
Families often share that beyond the preparation itself, their child feels seen, supported, and proud—and that is, ultimately, what this milestone is about.
